Retired David Beckham settles into his new life as full-time dad and husband as he accompanies wife Victoria on shopping trip

He's got a lot more time on his hands these days following his recent retirement from football.
So David Beckham may have to get used to accompanying his wife Victoria on shopping trips.
The couple, who are currently in New York City, were spotted checking out some of the designer boutiques in SoHo earlier this week.

However, while Posh is obviously a designer herself as well as a huge fashion fan, David isn't exactly a shopping phobic either.
The mother-of-four, 39, showed off her slim frame in a pair of leather-look leggings, loose top and blazer.
However, her husband of 14 years was clearly going for comfort in his baggy jeans, T-shirt and trainers.

While David, 38, has been in the Big Apple for over a week, his wife reunited with him last Friday after a brief trip home to London.
While in the British capital, where the Beckhams have lived since December, Victoria brought her eldest son Brooklyn to the Glamour Awards.
On Sunday, David was playing the patient husband accompanying his wife to buyer appointments at Milk Studios in New York.

The former Spice Girl has been busy working on her fashion collections, recently showcasing her pre-collections.
On Tuesday, she won the Brand Of The Year award for her range.
Missing out on the shopping trip were the couple's children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Where to next? Victoria and David head to their car to their next retail destination

David recently opened up on his typical protectiveness over his daughter, admitting he was dreading the day she was old enough to date.
When asked how he would feel about Harper dating in the future, the protective dad told The Sun: 'Absolutely not. She's not going out. She's going to be like Rapunzel - up in the tower.
'To have a daughter is a whole different story. I'm not saying I love my daughter more, but the boys are independent.'
