For years, Nicki Minaj
has been connecting with her Barbz through every social media network
on the Internet — except for Instagram. Apparently, after discovering
that someone was impersonating her on the photo-sharing website she
finally decided to set up her own account.
“I do NOT have Instagram. OnikaM is NOT me. Guess I have to make a
real one to counter attack. I’m sure that’s why Instagram won’t delete
it,” she tweeted before launching her new Instagram, allpinkbarbiedreamhouse.
So far, the Queen Barbz has a handful of images up, including one posing next to Pharrell Williams and Nelly on the video set of their just-released single, ‘Get Like Me.’
Minaj also used Instagram’s 15-second video app to record an introduction to her new page.
Since joining, the ‘High School’ rapper has gained over 250,000
followers but has yet to follow anyone back. With 31 million fans on
Facebook and 16 million Twitter followers, it won’t be long before Nicki
Minaj becomes the Social Media Queen.
However, we are still waiting for her to post a photo she once promised to her Barbz:
Below are several pics from her Instagram account. InstagramInstagramCaption: “#GetInTheMyx #PrettyGangOnly who want a Minaj?” InstagramCaption: Nah son, this ain’t 4 black ppl. I think ima chill.” Instagram
