Boko Haram: NSCDC Boss, Abdullai Gana Arrives Maiduguri In Response To FG Order

The Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Abdullai Gana, has arrived Maiduguri in response to the directives by President Muhammadu Buhari to relocate to the North East.

The NSCDC boss was directed to relocate to the northeast to ensure deployment of personnel to all schools in liberated areas in the states.

Operatives of NSCDC are expected to liaise with the military and governments of Yobe, Borno and Adamawa to provide adequate security
The Presidency said the directive became necessary to prevent the re-occurrence of the attack and abduction of Dapchi schoolgirls by Boko Haram.
Gana was received on Saturday by the Commander of the Army’s Operation Lafiya Dole, Major General Rogers Nicholas at the headquarters of Military Command and Control Centre, Maiduguri.
