Woman imprisoned beneath the home of Ariel Castro for 10 years now set to adopt her alleged captor's dog.
Along with Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Berry's young daughter, Gina DeJesus is thought to have been held captive by Ariel for nearly a decade.
Somewhere along the way, DeJesus, now 23, managed to befriend one of Castro's three small dogs--a terrier mix named Lola.

And now, as she recovers from her years of trauma and abuse, she wants her furry friend by her side.
According to Fox 8 Cleveland, DeJesus 'formed a bond' with the dog and now an attorney working with her has reunited the pair.
Yesterday, that attorney picked up Lola from the Cleveland Kennel on behalf of his client.
All three women rescued from Castro's Cleveland home were offered the opportunity to adopt the dogs before they were offered to the public.
Only DeJesus took the offer, and only to take Lola (which some reports call LaLa).
Reports have said that Castro allowed the women to interact with the dogs, but would sometimes take them away as a form of punishment.
Along with Lola, two other dogs were taken from the home of Ariel Castro.
One, a chihuahua named Dina, weighs seven pounds and is believed to be around five years old.
The other is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu mix named Drake, thought to be about 14 pounds.
Both dogs will be available for adoption in around two weeks through rescue group Dogs Unlimited Rescue.
Prior to DeJesus adopting Lola, Cleveland Dog Warden John Baird told the Plain Dealer that all three dogs were well behaved.
'They are very nice dogs, well
behaved,' Baird said. 'They're all healthy and easy to get along
with...they run up and are friendly to people, and they get along well
with each other.'
Miss DeJesus went missing aged 14 in 2004 on her way home from school.
Ariel Castro's son, Anthony Castro, 31, exclusively told MailOnline that Gina DeJesus could have been abducted from a busy Cleveland street almost ten years ago because he knew she would trust him, as Castro's daughter was a close friend of DeJesus.
Details emerged of the horrors they experienced in the house, with authorities reportedly discovering chains and tape to restrain the girls inside the home.
In April, DeJesus’ family had marked the nine-year anniversary since Gina disappeared
All three women were released from Metro Health Medical Center early this month after their May 6 rescue.
Cleveland police Commander Keith Sulzer said they were taken to an undisclosed location in the Cleveland suburbs.
A sign outside of the DeJesus family home in Cleveland, Ohio read 'Welcome Home Gina'.
Now, the DeJesus family will have to make a new sign for their family's newest addition.
