Mohammed Gambo signs three-year deal with Tunisian side

Kano Pillars striker,Mohammed Gambo has agreed a three-year deal to sign for Tunisian side,Club Africain,the club announced on Tuesday.
 
Gambo just broke into the Super Eagles team,playing at the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil,scoring a goal in Nigeria’s win on Saturday against Ivory Coast in the CHAN qualifier.
 
“Gambo has agreed to join Club Africain on a three-year deal. He will leave for Tunisia within the week,” said Pillars spokesman Idris Malikawa.
 
“Two other clubs from China and Saudi Arabia wanted Gambo but after we studied all the offers, we agreed that Club Africain’s deal was best for the player.”
Club chairman Abba Yola,in a press conference today,confirmed the move,adding that it is to the interest of the player.
 
“This transfer is in the right direction for Gambo. It will make him a better player,” said Abba Yola.
Gambo had previously had trial spells in Turkey and Egypt,but none materialized into a move.
