But Chris Brown seemed to have absorbed a little of the Aloha spirit as he relaxed with his girlfriend Karreuche Tran and then a group of friends in Hawaii.
The singer had a smile back on his face as he explored with his large entourage on a tour of Honolulu.
Proving a day out with pals was just what he needed, on Monday the usually temperamental 34-year-old looked relaxed, laughing and joking around with his friends.
Casually dressed in a black Nike vest, black shorts and a red baseball cap, Chris appeared to have put his recent dissatisfaction over the court's ruling behind him as he swigged from an energy drink and puffed on a cigarette.
No doubt spending some quality time with girlfriend Karrueche, 25, also helped.
Captioning the picture with a simple ‘Aloha’, Karrueche looks stunning in a short red dress with her hand resting on Chris’ shoulder.
It was a different story initially as the Don’t Wake Me Up singer took to his Twitter account on Thursday night to brand Los Angeles County prosecutors racist.
He was slapped with the additional community after being accused of submitting bogus community service reports for the 1,440 hours he was originally ordered to complete.
Chris blasted the perceived injustice over the ruling, writing: 'N**** done 6 months community service wit police and the DA racist a** crying to the judge that I didn't do it. F*** the SYSTEM!'
Luckily Chris' trip to Hawaii seems to have calmed him down.
He tweeted during his trip: ‘I'm truly happy to have my fans and life. Even wit the bs. Can't make a leader.. They have to be chosen by the people. #iju love...
Chris was in Hawaii to perform at the Shell Stadium in Waikiki on Friday night and singer took to the stage for rehearsals earlier that day wearing just shorts, a baseball cap and runners.
